Almost no homemade meal is easier, or tastier, than pizza. Make a batch of pizza dough at the beginning of the week and you've got the base for pizza for the rest of the week. As long as your kitchen has the holy trinity of pizza in stock (dough, sauce, mozzarella), then you can whip up a pizza with whatever toppings you have in the fridge. I've had cherry tomatoes from my balcony garden all summer, those combined with onion, garlic cloves, and sausage just makes my mouth water. Sausage and asparagus is a good combination too!
